SInce 2005, Rizaldy Villegas joined Central Arizona Heart Specialists in Chandler, Arizona after completing his Fellowship programs in General Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology at Banner Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona.

Dr. Villegas attended Colleges in Santa Clara, California and received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Biological Sciences at the University of California, Davis in Davis, California in 1992. He graduated from medical school from 1994-1998 at George Washington University Medical School in Washington, DC. He completed his Internship and Residency in Internal Medicine at Banner Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center from 1998-2001.

Since receiving his degree in Medicine, Dr. Villegas has distinguished himself as a clinician serving the needs of his patients. He has been involved in several research programs involving the Human Subject Protection Training, Sub-Investigator COOL RCN, COOL MI in 2006

Dr. Villegas has been instrumental in pursuing accreditation for Central Arizona Heart Specialists for its Echocardiography and ultrasound Departments.

Dr. Villegas provides a full spectrum of diagnostic and therapeutic skills to his treatment of heart patients. Complete non-invasive workup including hypertension management, hyperlipidemia management and treatment with non-invasive cardiac imaging to diagnosis cardiac and vascular disease allow Dr. Villegas to treat his patients with his skills in cardiac catheterization, coronary angioplasty and stents, peripheral vascular treatments and pacemaker implantation.

Recently, Dr. Villegas was named Director of the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory at Casa Grande Regional Medical Center.
