Fadi Khoury, MD, FACS

Fadi M. Khoury, MD, FACS is a cardiac thoracic, vascular, and endovascular surgeon at Arizona Premier Surgery in Chandler. Dr. Khoury received his medical degree from George Washington University, School of Medicine, in Washington, District of Columbia. He completed his residency in general surgery at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas and then completed his cardiothoracic surgical residency training at the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Medicine in Chicago, Illinois. He completed an additional year of fellowship training in congenital heart surgery also in Chicago. Dr. Khoury spent an additional year at the Toronto General Hospital in a fellowship with extensive exposure to aortic surgery and heart valve surgery. An additional fellowship was completed later in his career in endovascular surgery at the Arizona Heart Hospital.

He is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and is board certified in thoracic surgery and general surgery. Dr. Khoury is a member of the Society of Thoracic Surgeons, the European Association of Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery, and is a founding member of the World Society of Pediatric and Congenital Heart Surgery. Dr. Khoury’s expertise includes adult cardiac surgery, general thoracic surgery, pediatric and adult congenital heart surgery, major vascular surgery, endovascular surgery of thoracic and abdominal aortic aneurysms and dissections, as well as vascular and endovascular surgical intervention for peripheral arterial occlusive disease including carotid disease and critical limb ischemia. Dr. Khoury has been in practice in cardiothoracic and vascular surgery since 2004. Dr. Khoury has authored and contributed to several journals and publications on cardiothoracic surgery and has traveled abroad to perform congenital heart surgeries on underserved congenital heart disease patients with the Gift of Life International organization.
