Dr. Lyndon Xavier, Interventional Cardiologist, joined Premier Cardiovascular Center (PCC) in January 2010. He arrived with five years of cardiology experience from working at the Arizona Heart Institute (2003-2009), where he began his career after completing a fellowship in cardiovascular disease at the University of Arizona Saver Heart Center in Tucson (2000-2003), followed by a fellowship in interventional cardiovascular disease at the Arizona Heart Institute and Hospital.

Dr. Xavier received his undergraduate degree in organic chemistry from Texas A&M University. He received his medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry in New Jersey, Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in 1997. Dr. Xavier completed his residency and internship at Cooper Hospital UMC in Camden, New Jersey.

Dr. Xavier is board certified in cardiovascular medicine, endovascular interventions, and internal medicine. He has made numerous presentations, published articles in several medical journals, and has many patents.

His professional honors include National Medical Fellowship, National Science Foundation Incentive for Excellence Scholarship, Welch Foundation Fellowship for undergraduate research, and George C. Bauer Memorial Scholarship. He is a member of the American College of Physicians, the American College of Cardiology, and the Society for Cardiac Intervention and Angiography.

Dr. Xavier offers his services at Dignity Health’s Chandler Regional and Mercy Gilbert Medical Centers, Arizona Heart Hospital, and Casa Grande Regional Medical Center.
